We are having our reception at the Terme Tettucio Spa. Terme Tettucio is a thermal spa complex in the centre of a small town called Montecatini Terme. People visit from all over for the healing powers of the water found here. It is not a traditional spa so no thermal baths here, just the water to drink! We were confused as well when we couldn't find any baths!
Montecatini Terme is a small town in Tuscany about 30 mins from Florence and 45 mins from Pisa. The venue is found in a small park in the centre of the town. The town itself is suburban with plenty of hotels within a 5-10 mins walk from the venue. About 10 mins drive away is a hillside medieval town called Montecatini Alto which is very charming and this is where we will have our church ceremony and the wedding brunch the day after.
